Paintball Loader

LOADER & HOPPER

The big Paintball Loader FAQ

Depending on the size of the loader, 150 - 200 paintballs fit into a loader. Some electric loaders also have larger capacities with up to 300 balls.

The main difference is how the paintballs are fed. A gravity loader uses gravity alone to drop the paintballs into the marker, while an electronic loader uses a battery-powered mechanism to actively push the paintballs into the marker at a faster rate.

The speed of the ball feed is important to ensure that the marker always has enough paintballs to fire at fast rates of fire. If the paintballs are not fed quickly enough, "blank shots" can occur where there is no ball in the barrel, putting the player at a disadvantage at critical moments. So always look for a loader that offers you a reliable feed.

Our paintball loaders are powered by 3 AA batteries, allowing a firing rate of over 80,000 balls.
