Use the right paintball clothing

Long clothing is recommended for paintball, such as long sleeves and pants, as they provide protection from the direct impact of the paintballs. They can cushion the impact and prevent bruises. Comfortable and durable clothing that allows freedom of movement but is also robust is ideal. Many players wear outdoor clothing or old sweatpants and hoodies.

A well-fitting paintball mask is a must to protect the face. Gloves protect the hands from direct hits and optionally you can use chest and back protectors to protect sensitive areas such as the chest and back. In addition, protective gear for the knees, elbows, upper body and lower body is important to protect sensitive body parts.

For an outdoor area, sturdy footwear is best. Ankle-high shoes or hiking boots provide stability and prevent twisting. Good traction is important as the playing field can often be slippery or uneven. On an indoor field or a clean outdoor area, well-fitting sports shoes with a good sole are sufficient.

To protect sensitive body parts, many players wear a groin guard or padded shorts for better protection when playing on uneven terrain or when kneeling, sliding or falling a lot. Breathable and tight-fitting clothing is also helpful to wick away sweat and keep the body cool. The advantage of this is to prevent skin irritation and to cushion the impact when hit.

Paintball can make clothes dirty with paint, mud and grass. It is therefore advisable to wear old clothes or clothes suitable for outdoor activities. The necessary protective clothing is also recommended as this will protect against injuries or bruises on sensitive parts of the body. Overall, it is therefore important to choose clothing that is protective, comfortable and suitable for the weather and playing field conditions. A good balance between freedom of movement, protection and robustness guarantees a safe and comfortable game.
